Just finished Waterloo by Bernard Cromwell, and recently started a short book called Hitler's gift to France: The return of the remains of Napoleon II. An interesting yet relatively unknown event that occurred back in 1940..

Well, I have started on Paul Dawson's Waterloo, the Truth at Last. I will keep my powder dry for now. As a writer myself, I am wary of reviewing the books of other authors; there's always a potential conflict of interest, especially when there are similarities in our books. Still, I am very interested in what others think of it.

It would also be nice to get this thread going again; as well as some book reviews. We've all been getting a little lazy!! :(

I have also just got Paul Dawson's Waterloo The Truth at Last (as I mentioned) in another thread.

My problem is that I bought so many books in 2016 and 2017 on the Waterloo campaign, that I really don't have time to read them all from cover to cover.

Anyway, I tend to skim through most books, as I know the general outline of the Waterloo campaign and the battle.
