Infantry regiments lfacings, lace schematic

Greetings all.

For those who might be interested, I should like to draw your attention to these schemata for Infantry regimental uniform distinctions prepared by a prominent member of various forums relating to our period, in this case The Miniatures Pages- Napoleonic Discussion. He posts as 'Dibble' but answers to the name of Paul.

Showing details such as regimental facings, lace, and button-hole spacing, he has borrowed the layour used in similar, earlier summaries, such as those of Charles Hamilton-Smith circa 1812, but has corrected a number of errors, reproduced by modern authors such as C.E. Franklin.

I hope this is of interest.

I reckon it is very much of interest Jack. Thanks to you and Dibble for posting.
