Bridge at Barba del Puerco

The simply stunning bridge over the Agueda at Barba del Puerco, now called Puerto Seguro, scene of the legendary skirmish between the 95th Rifles under Sidney Beckwith and the French infantry of Gen Ferey. The building in the last picture is the actual 'Picket house' mentioned in George Simmons' account of the action, an amazing spot.

Andy.
