I bet there are a few examples around, real or?? DNA match using living descendants hair?

Just thought it was a fun thing, and who knows how many were made in the time period to generate some needed $$.

Looks genuine to me! It was quite common at the time to give lockets of hair as a form of souvenir, comparable to getting an autograph from a celebrity in todays society. To learn more take a look a look at the book "The Murder Of Napoleon" written by a Swedish dentist who sampled many strands of Napoleons hair for arsenic levels. There are some trading cards with strands of Napoleon's hair made from the company Upper Deck..take a look at the link below. I almost bought one of them on ebay, I think it sold for $450. ... raph-card/

I beleive a lock of Lord Wellington's hair sold for 4,000 Pounds.
