British, French, or another nationality?

Foot, cavalry, or artillery?

If British light infantry is your game, for example, then 5/60th are just down the road :D

The 33rd Foot do British redcoats and have active members in Lancashire and the Cheshire border.(I'm biased)

The 21eme have a strong Lancashire presence doing French line infantry.

HMS have members in the North West if you are interested in representing the Royal Navy of the period.

B Squadron of 16th Light Dragoons are a northern based group portraying British light cavalry.

2nd 95th have some members in this area .

I don't think 16th LD still have a northern troop, but are down to two or three active members in total.
