ATTENTION REANNACTORS: you can please start emailing us on urgullhistorico@urgull-historico.es Is important you tell us your group's details: unit, uniform, contact, email, etc. We can still garatie nothing but we wanto to have the list of gropus interested in case we manage to get this running. we want to organice everything in a strong push, we keep you inform but we can't advance anything right now.

The event will be intense:

FRIDAY EVENING: ARRIVAL CAMP AT LAPUEBLA AND dINNER
(Those groups interested can come thursday and book a morning battelfield tour with us.)

SATURDAY: early MORNING POWDER DISTRIBUTION
Midday bridige battle at Lapuebla
meal
aFTERNOON transport by train to the selected battlefield in Vitoria.
dinner

sunday: liberation of the city and rememberance of the fallen.

PROGRAMME FOR THE BICENTENARY OF THE BATTLE OF VITORIA

Friday 21st June:

1000 – 1030: Drum Head Ceremony at Knoll de Ariñez. Attended by Lord Douro and British Military Contingent. All are welcome to attend and join this ceremony of remembrance.

1300 – Band Concert in the Plaza de la Virgen.

1900- 2230 – band concerts in the Plaza del Arca, Plaza Sefarad and the Plaza de la Virgen Blanca.

Evening – at the village of Aganzón, a reception for the Napoleonic Re-enactors.

Saturday 22nd June:

1200 – Re-enactment of the Battle at Aganzón.

1930 – Re-enactment of the Battle at Armentia.

Sunday 23rd June:

1230 – Concentration of Re-enactors in centre of Vitoria to celebrate the liberation of the city.

Program:

Friday 21th June 2013.

Morning:
-10:00 Remembering drum ceremony at Jundiz/Ariñez Knoll by the british troops contingent and with the presence of Lord Douro.
-13:00 Concert at the Virgen Blanca Square by the monument to the battle.

Evening:
-Reannactors arrival to La Puebla de Arganzón and camp set up by the Zadorra. By the bridge where Hill Division crossed into battle.
-Visit to the interpretarion center of the battle at the watermill.
-23:00 Minute of rememberance by the bridge, candels and bells in honour to those souls lost in battle 200 years ago.
-Bands and night skirmishes.

Saturday 22nd June 2013.

Morning:
Reannactors concentration at La Puebla de Arganzón.
-9:00 Powder distribution.
- During the morning, visiti to the interpretarion center of the battle at the watermill and historical places (Chapel) Baths at the river Zadorra if weather conditions allow. Campament life.
-11:30 Officer's meeting and setting up for combat...
-12:00 Battle. Allies will arrive in town from the neibouringh village of Tuyo. they aproach onto the bridge at Lapuebla. Imperials will deploy a defensive position of troops and artillery in order to avoid the river crossing and acess to the village. British and spanish atacks will obly the frenchmen to withdraw fighting to the streets of the village where they will be defeated. Allies take the village. Formation and cheeers at the square.
-15:00 Ranch meal at the encampent by the river for all the reannactors offered by Lapuebla de Arganzón city council.

Tarde:
-16:30 Campament life.
-18:00 Exit of all the troops to Vitoria by train (15 km distance and quite unhistorical!!).
-18:30 Arrival to Vitoira train station where city buses will take the troops to the battlelfield at ARMENTIA.
-19:30 Officer's meeting and setting up for combat....
-20:00/22:00 Ist RecreationBATTLE OF VITORIA, by Armentia's chapel, where the french last stand was. See combat map. (Link)
-22:00 Dinner for all reannactors in the same spot of the battle offered by the city council of .
-23.30 Back to Hotels. Those in Lapuebla will be taken back in train.

Sunday 23rd June 2013

-12:00 Those in Lapuebla train to Vitoria.
-12:30 Troop in formation by the trail station, parade into the town.
Two columns:
Allies
Imperial troops
-13:00/13:30 Entrance of the general Álava in the city center along the troops in formation.. Arrival from various streets onto the Virgen Blanca squarea.
-13: 30 Troop forming by the monument in memorial of the battle of Vitoria
Greetings by the city major and authorities to the participants.
Homage to the victims of all wars.
Speaches. ( major, local governor,General Alava's family, etc.)
-15:00/15:30 Picnic bag for reannactors.
-18:00 Homage to General Álava at his grave in Santa Isabel graveyard. Gun salute. Attendance voluntary."""""""""""""""""

They have extended the deadline for enrollmet as they didn't filled all the 400 soldiers they wanted and had as limit by the local authorities, so if thinking about it you are still on time:
