Help with Artwork

Postby jasonubych » June 11th, 2014, 11:16 am

I need help,

I wonder could anyone have or point me in the right direction to get some good photo's I could use to make trump cards. I need 80 or so pieces of art to make two packs of Trump cards. I had used a computer game to generate images but after several letters to the game maker followed by sending them an example of the cards in the post, I received a letter saying how much they liked the cards, but they could not release the art to me on licence.
I have an artist friend who is attempting to paint some Pictures for me but its too much to ask him for so much art.

I thought that if I could access some good re enactment photo's I may have a chance of making art for each card.

Here's one I have done using a photo stolen from the forum, I really need Highland regiments and British regiments that were at waterloo.
Can anyone help?

Jason

You could try http://www.battlefield-design.co.uk/ who produce maps and images etc. for books. As to cost I don't know what it might entail, but I am sure they would be happy to give you a free quote.

I have had no dealings with this company myself, but I am considering them for illustrative work (maps) for the book I am currently writing.
