Borodino re-enactment 2016

Postby FBC-Elvas, Portugal » September 17th, 2016, 11:55 am

Impressive Russian photos of the Borodino re-enactment this month can be seen on http://rbth.com/multimedia/pictures/201 ... ino_629835

"Earlier this month, an historical reenactment of the battle of Borodino was held 125 km from Moscow. Two days of the year, thousands of people gather here and trade clothes for uniforms, cars for horses, apartments for battlefield tents, the 21st century for 1812."

I think the Borodino event is probably one of the most impressive out there.

Hi Andrew,

15th (King's) Light Dragoons (Hussars).

I understand that General Robert Wilson was provided with a small escort of King's Hussars when he went to Russia as a liaison officer.
