For those in South America (I hope I'm not the only one), I know a guy who makes replica firearms and swords at a fairly good price. He's in Buenos Aires at the moment, but I'm certain he can send out his stuff to neighbouring countries.

Does anyone know if an early British Royal Horseguards, Lifeguards or Dragoons style of helmet is being made at the moment as shown in the attached pictures.

Michael, I recollect coming across a Life Guard helmet made of synthetic material several years ago, possibly the same batch as some of the photographs. However, some groups have more recently made kit and might pass on the name of a manufacturer.
This includes the 1st Royal Dragoons who are captained by Alan Larsen who are on FB and , I also believe, some re-enactors reconstructed a 6th Dragoon cavalryman for the Waterloo bi-centenary.
