The regiment I re-enact, 2nd (Queen's Royal) Regiment, has 1st June as one of it's battle honours having served as marines in the action. We also give the loyal toast sitting down, navy-style in memory of the event.

Sitting down in navy-style, here's to you and the Queen's Royal Regiment.

One of my own predecessor regiments, the 29th (Worcestershire) Regiment, also served as marines during the battle. We give the loyal toast standing up; army style!! :D

Thank you Mr Waller - that'll make a comic turn in my story-in-progress when the land-based officers in the captain's cabin get to their feet for the toast 8-)
