Thanks for the heads up Ben, best of luck with your new book!

I have in my collection a Waterloo medal to an Officer of the 52nd Light Infantry (full details in my showcase). In 1830 in a statement of service he described how he had been resident in 'The Brazils and other parts of South America' and stated that he was 'Desirous of service'.

"Thus the war terminated, and with it all remembrance of the veteran's services" Gen W F P Napier.
