Trafalgar Day: 21st October

Postby Mark » October 21st, 2011, 3:33 pm

Today is the anniversary of the Battle of Trafalgar. While many of us may be familiar with the battle I thought I would post a link to the History Channel's "This Day in History" page for those who might find it of interest:

Although a day late there seems to have been quite a few Nelson's and Trafalgar related documentaries on TV today here in the UK :) No doubt these will be repeated on the Military and History channels for those that missed them.

It does not seem like a year ago since I made the above post! However, just a reminder to members (as if you need reminding) that today is the 208th anniversary of the Battle of Trafalgar!

Thanks Andy. An impressive collection of paintings. Lord Cochrane might not have agreed with some of the commentary.
