Austerlitz day : 2th december 1805

I still have a few minutes to remember that 206 years ago at this time, Napoleon was victorious at Austerlitz after one of his most famous battles.
This broadcast is quite good to listen to :

Thanks for reminding us, Laurent! We almost let this anniversary pass us by

The Project Austerlitz web site is also well worth a look: http://www.austerlitz.org/index.php?_lang_set_id=2

The Battle of Austerlitz was just...pure genius. Luring your enemy onto the very ground you want them exactly to be. Its incredible how Napoleon predicted that the Austro-Russian Army would concentrate the majority of their forces to Napoleon's Right flank exposing their center. Pure genius. Napoleonic warfare shows the best tactics of mankind.

Kutuzov and Francis II were the only two smart Coalition generals. The Russian Tsar; Alexander I sort of reminds me of Joffery from Game of Thrones. Spoiled little b******...
