Battle of Abensberg, 20th April 1809

Just a heads-up, for those who are interested, that today is the anniversary of the Battle of Abensberg, fought on this day in 1809. This part of the Napoleonic Wars is still under-studied in my opinion but having acquired the Thunder on the Danube multi-volume work by John Gill I hope to learn more.

Mark,

have you had a chance to read the account? I found it rather informative.
