Does anyone have any information on this British provisional battalion that served at Walcheren in 1809?

There is an excellent piece in the Napoleon Series on it by Andrew Bamford and other references in the Edinburgh Annual Register, Parliamentary reports and the collections of John Patterson of the 50th Foot but hopefully more material is 'out there'.

Please don't clutter the thread by converting it into a generic piece on provisional battalions such as the ones in Spain etc.
