Re: Forums covering other periods and areas of interest

Is their any forum covering military wars/activities between the end of the Napoleonic wars and the victorian wars forum?

I am interested in the 1rst Anglo-Burmese war 5 March 1824 to 24 February 1826 especially the stockade fighting and the enormous expense of this war.

Any suggestions?

I did some research into the First Anglo-Burmese War myself not long ago, and was unable to find any other forums that covered the period.

It's a shame that the much of the historical data supllied in sections of the RevWarTalk Forum is copied verbatim from Wikipedia sites.

Sadly traffic on the RevList forum :

https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/Revlist/info

has dwindled to a fraction of what it was when I joined in 2009 but in the archive there is stored a wealth of information about the conflict and armies of both sides from Grand Strategy to gaiter buttons discussed by both dilgent historians and cranky old re-enactors. Hours of innocent entertainment.
