Napoleon's Last Stand: 100 days in objects

Postby FBC-Elvas, Portugal » October 7th, 2014, 3:46 pm

Napoleon's 100 Days marked the period between Emperor Napoleon of France's return from exile on Elba to Paris on 20 March 1815 and the second restoration of King Louis XVIII on 8 July 1815.

The Departments of History and French at the University of Warwick are launching a virtual exhibition covering Napoleon's 100 Days and reactions to events from around the world. The exhibition will appear on http://www.100days.org.uk

From 25 February 2015 a new object with commentary will be posted on the website each day, providing an unfolding account of events.

Outline submissions may be submitted to the organisers until the end of October 2014. http://www2.warwick.ac.uk/fac/arts/rese ... es/100days

The first link doesn't appear to be working for me. Is anyone else having problems?

First link not working for me either, interesting idea though, quite a task to find an interesting object every day.

The first link, the event's website, isn't operational yet. Not sure when it will be but will post the date when I hear. Maybe not until the new year.

I posted the news now in case any of our members want to submit an object. That has to be done before the end of the month.
