Don Troiani's Facebook Page is a gem of a thing that I often stop by. I'm not on Facebook, but he seems to be a nice guy, he returned an email of mine once regarding unit information, and his work is jaw dropping.

Very impressive, I wonder if he would paint me 40 pictures of waterloo heroes. :D
700 hundred posts Josh, also impressive, I think I have 90 only.

Troiani has done quite a few War of 1812 paintings, and numerous uniform studies, to the same high standard. He'd probably do your comission but it'd cost ya!

Facebook is a slippery slope, but there are a number of military history groups who use the social media site which are worth following.
