Hi All…

Before reading on, please watch the following 45-second video. JUST ONCE !

Probably due to the fact that I’m slowly becoming a ‘Hougoumont-brainwashed’ fanatic, the first thing that struck me was the western kitchen garden with someone having planted vegetables.
Then, I said to myself…, NO ! That’s not possible !

Lol…, not very proud of my observation powers !
I looked again and seeing the lane leading to La Belle Alliance, Photoshop sprang to mind.
OMG…, then I noticed the chateau.

Looking closer, the ‘Photoshoper’ copied the gardener’s house, increased the size a little then placed it behind the complex. Then added the tower and the house !

Pity he/she didn’t add a hedgerow to the west of the kitchen garden with a wooden fence and trees along the lane.

In the meantime, I’m sure you’ll agree that it’s quite well done !

Despite the horizon being reduced by about 30 meters due to the construction of the autoroute, you can easily imagine the canons on the ridge.
That’s not very high to allow the howitzers to fire at the wood with a certitude that the shells wouldn’t explode over the farm.
