Hello from New Zealand

Postby Digby » August 31st, 2016, 7:29 am

Hi I am in New Zealand, I'm an older guy who used to be a keen wargamer and studied the Napoleonic wars in the 1980s and 90s.

Then I ran out of time and money. But now that I am semi retired I found all of my old books and have re-kindled my interest. Especially with all the new recent books that have been published.

I did computerize a lot of my notes, before the internet became popular and we are so lucky now, that so much material is available and that we can communicate by forums such as this. I used to write letters to people in the UK and it took two weeks to get a reply!

I look forward to contributing some of my theories and some articles which were based on a wargaming point of view of tactical situations.

Due to limited time and resources I intend to concentrate on the Waterloo campaign. I am very pleased to have found this forum which is very well laid out.
