Dear all,

We are working with the local community, MOD and developers to takeover the management and ownership of Shorncliffe Redoubt and the surrounding ex-army training ground and create a world class heritage and education centre.

We want to create an attractive open space with one of the best views on the South Coast of England, preserve the military archaeology that spans from 1790's to the present day, create a museum to tell some of the amazing stories from the millions of men who marched through our gates on to great battles such as Waterloo, the Somme and D Day and create an immersive educational facility that will give our visitors a heritage experience they will never forget.

We will be creating local jobs and supporting local businesses. We will be supporting re-enacting and specialist military heritage groups who want to use our facilities and creating a centre of excellence for heritage tourism.

If you would like to join our campaign, support our charity or discuss Shorncliffe's history or heritage, please contact me. We have so many stories to tell.
