Soldier Servants in the British Army

Most British regiments seem to have preferred soldiers detached from their normal duties to serve as servants to wear 'coloured clothes' , not wearing any stand regimental clothing etc barring shoes, stockings and shirt. Some of these tended towards wearing very colourful or extravagant outfits, as referred to by Lindau of the 2nd KGL Light battalion or the 1816 Military Dictionary.

A few tried to introduce a form of servant's uniform. Apart from the ones mentioned by the 85th and 95th, does anyone know of similar examples?
