Napoleonic Computer Wargaming

Postby Aloysius Kling Sr » August 3rd, 2017, 8:30 pm

Greetings All,
I have been reading and studying Napoleon and Napoleonic History since I was a high school sophomore. And while I have amassed a large collection of books over the years I am for from an expert... I discovered Napoleonic board games many years ago as a way to reenact the battles... The problem was finding opponents and time... I played different games over the years but John Tiller's Napoleonic games get down to the details of the battles... And while they may have historically inaccuracies they do teach how the battles were fought...

A few years ago myself and two online friends started the Wargaming Society which covers many other eras... But for me it is the Napoleonic Era! I am not advertising for the game manufacturer, I am posting this to anyone interested in this type of gaming as to add to your interest in the Napoleonic Era...

I am posting a few links to the Wargaming Society's Age of Napoleon which you may find interesting. ... ament.html

I am not affiliated with the JTS Games and the Wargaming Society founders do not take a money from its members. Thanks for reading this post and I will not be making any other about the Wargaming Society Age of Napoleon.

Welcome to the Forum! It may be your last post about the Wargaming Society's Age of Napoleon but I hope it won't be the last to the Forum in general. Lots of interesting news among these posts.
